Director

Nicola Wood has a wealth of experience within the UK transport industry having worked with clients in both the private and public sectors, across rail and bus transactions.

Nicola's experience includes bid and strategic leadership and she has worked across most parts of the industry, from TOCs, owning groups and DfT, to rolling stock manufacturers.

Nicola's recent assignments have included advising DfT on contractual measures in response to COVID-19, acting as DfT's Project Director on a TOC National Rail Contract (NRC) extension, leading a commercial client's successful pre-qualification submission and developing the relationship between HS2 Ltd and DfT.

Nicola's engaging approach and leadership qualities ensure that our clients' expectations are exceeded on every assignment.

Director

Simon Minwalla brings more than 15 years experience in the UK rail sector, across a variety of private and public sector clients in finance, commercial and policy disciplines.

Simon leads the commercial and development aspects of UK Rail Advisory's offering and is proud to have led UKRA's successful strategic partnering endeavours.

Simon's recent assignments have included advising DfT in a financial advisory capacity on rail contract extensions, advising DfT on scoping and managing assurance processes on complex financial models and providing commercial advice to a client on an electric bus procurement.

Simon's personable approach and commercial nous have continuously delivered successful outcomes for our clients.
